You may be waiting for the hint that someone is totally digging on you and you are waiting the first move. Perhaps instead of waiting for something that may never happen, you should make the first move.
The first move is a very important one so consider these few points before you move in. Before you make the move, try to figure out and make sure that the individual is single. Check to see if they have a ring. Obviously stay away if they do! If you are interested in someone that your friends know, ask them about that individual. Ask them if that person is dating anyone and if not, you are in the clear. If it is the person at the local coffee shop see if they notice you when you walk in or if they hint that they are interested in you. Try giving off nonverbal signals such as smiling at them, and watch for a reaction. If they are hinting they are not interested then move along. It is almost like you are playing a game of detective and once you know you are in the clear then you are allowed to make the first move.
