Flirting in the Office
It is no surprise that at the work place a lot of flirting is going on. You are around people who share the commonality of working in the same place, you’re away from your partner and at times get bored or stressed out.
You must be careful when it comes to flirting in the workplace however because ultimately, it can end your career. In extreme cases you can get in trouble for sexual harassment when all you were trying to do is harmlessly get your flirt on. There are rules when it comes to mixing flirting with work so be sure to follow these simple rules. First, never flirt with your boss! Under that note, never flirt with anyone you work under. It is simply just unprofessional. Flirt with people you trust and with people who flirt back to you. This way, you know the feeling is mutual and it is an unspoken understanding. If someone has asked you nicely to stop flirting with them, then do so. You will get into trouble if you continue on. Be sure not to flirt with college interns. Although they may be cute, stick to flirting with people your own age. Lastly, don’t flirt if someone is trying to work. They will get frustrated with you!
